Pet Home Privacy Policy
Pet Home is a browser extension that lets you care for a virtual cat and optionally sync its state across browsers.
Information we collect
- If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, display name, and profile image supplied by Google.
- When sync is enabled, we store the pet state you create in the extension, such as progress, inventory, settings, and room layout.
- We do not collect browsing history, page content, passwords, payment information, precise location, or communications.
How we use information
We use account information only to authenticate you, create your account, and keep your pet state synchronized across your signed-in browsers. Pet data is not used for advertising or profiling.
Storage and service providers
Signed-in sync data is stored in Cloudflare D1 infrastructure. Google processes authentication through Google OAuth. If you do not sign in, extension data remains in your browser's local storage and is not uploaded by Pet Home.
Sharing and retention
We do not sell or share your information for advertising. Data is retained while needed to provide sync. To request deletion of your synced account and data, contact us at canhua.mao@gmail.com.
Security
Authentication tokens are stored as protected session records, and requests to synced data require authentication. No online service can guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable measures to protect the data we process.
